At Bragdon-Kelley Monuments our sand-blasters take great pride in their ability to provide individual designs representative of the life being memorialized. “Jack” Jackson has worked at Bragdon-Kelley for 40 years, which speaks of his great commitment not only to the company but to the needs of the families we serve. He has experience unmatched anywhere in eastern Maine and has designed many special order monuments from photographs and from ideas and instructions offered by family members. Mike Strout has worked for several years under the direct supervision of Jack, and we continue to expand our staff this year with the addition of John Merritt. Both Mike and John have attended instructional classes given by expert stone cutters and sand-blasters at the Barre Granite Museum of Vermont. Our staff can design and create a lasting tribute that will be suitable to represent your loved one.
Among the other services we offer at
Bragdon-Kelley Monuments are large memorials to remember groups,
such as the Maine State Firefighters’ Monument placed at
Augusta; cemetery services, such as cleaning stones, cleaning
and repairing lots, and repairing monuments; and non-memorial
services, such as engraving on stone used for address markers,
keepsakes, garden benches. If you would like it in stone, we can
do it.
